In the framework of the Horizon 2020 project Cultural Base: Social Platform on Cultural Heritage and European Identities implemented by 6 European universities, Nikola Krstović, PhD and senior curator of the museum held the lectures to the PhD students of Sorbonne and on the conference “Which museums for the (European) heritage of the 21st century?” at the Institute for the Advanced Studies of Paris. During the first day he gave the lectureHeritage and Realities: Curatorial Shaping of the World. At the conference about 21st century museums (Horizon 2020 program) some of the activities of the Old Village museums were evokedthrough the presentationHeritage as Act(ion): Inevitable Challenge to the Public Adherenceduring the second day. Beside our representative the contributions of eminent European experts and institutions were presented, among them: Dominique Poulot – Professor at Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University, LuísRaposo – President of the ICOM EUROPE, YannickLintz – Director of the Department of Islamic Art of the Louvre Museum, Mark O’Neill – Professor at College of Arts of Glasgow and Glasgow Life Museum (EMYA Grand Prix 2013), Anne Krebs – Head of the Studies and Research Department of the Louvre Museum, Fredéric Keck - Director of the Research Department of the Quai BranlyMuseum, François Mairesse – presidentof the international committee of ICOFOM, professor University of Paris 3: Sorbonne Nouvelle. The organizer of the meeting was Isidora Stanković, PhD student and assistent at Sorbonne University. Visiting the Sorbonne and Institute for Advanced Studies of Paris represents the part of the international cooperation of the Old Village museum. The museum program Summer school of museology is a gathering platform for the experts in the field of cultural heritage. Professors Dominique Poulot and Arnaud Bertinet and their PhD students from Sorbonne, together with the PhD students of the Art history department of Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade were the guests of the School last year in June. The result is the international Yearbook “Discussing heritage and museums: Crossing paths of France and Serbia”.
