Zorica Zlatić Ivković, art historian and a longtime museum adviser at the Open-air museum "Old Village" in Sirogojno, received this year's award "Mihailo Valtrović" for lifetime achievement.
The prize was awarded for her great contribution and long-standing commitment to the study, protection, presentation, publication and popularization of medieval architectural and cultural heritage, for dedicated museum work and her devotion to establishment of the institution of the Open Air Museum "Old Village" in Sirogojno, which has gained the status of cultural property monument of the first category - of great importance for the culture of Republic of Serbia.
The award is given in memory of Mihailo Valtrović (1839-1915), an archaeologist, architect and art historian, a member of Serbian Royal Academy, the High School professor, the first director of the National Museum, the first museum worker and the founder of the Serbian Archaeological Society.
