Customs
On this great holiday (which marks the birth of St. John the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord) the ranges of lady's bedstraw flowers are made in the Museum. Then, they are placed on residential and commercial objects in both Museum households in the spirit of the old tradition according to which flower wreaths should ensure health and wealth of the household members and livestock. Visitors will be able to serve the tea prepared on the hearth in the main Museum house and hear some interesting stories about healing properties of herbs.
